Peak season for turtles to lay their eggs is between June to October, every year.

Oh, not at all! Rest assured, turtles come to lay their eggs on the beach island every night. The only difference is that the number of turtles are not as many during the peak season, and you may have to wait for a while as they may come ashore a little later at midnight.

The Selingan Island is approximately 40km north away from the Sabah Parks Jetty.

By speedboat, we should be able to reach there within one hour.

The boat departs daily at 10.45AM. If you have booked for a trip to Selingan Island, please make sure to be at the jetty by 10.00AM. You can use Google Maps or Waze to get the exact location of our jetty.

The phone reception over the island is low and often none at all. At the very best, it's only enough to make phone calls and messages on messaging app.

Currently, we are unable to provide pickup service. We are doing our best to improve our service quality. Until then, we recommend you to use the Grab application to book a ride to the Sabah Parks Jetty. You can download the app on Android and iOS.

The parking space in front of the jetty belongs to Sabah Parks. You may try ask them regarding the subject, their office is just right beside ours.

Sorry, but we do not provide breakfast before your boat departure to Selingan Island. We suggest you to have your breakfast before coming to the jetty.

Yes, but it is subject to availability. You have to head over to our office before 10.45AM and seek our staffs’ help, as it is not possible to book on the same day through our booking inquiry form. You can use Google Maps or Waze to reach our office.

Our usual itinerary is for 1 day 1 night, of which you will overstay the night on the island. While it is possible, we do not recommend you so. Albeit being the largest among the Turtle Islands, you can circle around the full island within just 30 minutes.

You can pay the fees (cash only) during the day of your trip, just head over to our office at the jetty.

Passport or identity card must be brought together for registration before departure to Selingan Island. Also, you are encouraged to bring sunscreen, insect repellent, torchlight and your preferred personal toiletries and medication.
